Matt Sargent and a   very warm welcome to him had the heavest fish of the competition a flounder weighing 338g, Second was Andy Newell with a flounder of 302g and his   fishing partner Darren Kennedy was third with a flounder 200g. 1ST Raymond Phillips 8 Fish 4266g   2 Codling 1 Dogfish
2nd Michael Ferrier   20 Fish   2710g
3rd Darren Kennedy 16 fish   2190g

In calm conditions to start with and very light breeze from the West
although during the evening the stronger breeze picked up from the South East making things better. Although to start the sea was very clear after dark the fish started to feed and that was improved further by the stiff South Easterly picking up stirring things up. Well done to Young Raymond showing his Old Man a trick or two on how to catch fish. Ray Senior was lost for Words!!!!

In very Crystal clear water fishing was very hard indeed float fishing was even favoured during daylight although many Garfish were sited they just swam around the floats and at Reculver an early shoal of Mackerel were seen again ignored feathers. In very clear calm conditions with very little tide fish were hard to come by but Rick was outright winner well done to him.
